Mahoning Country Club - Girard

I had played here before and was looking forward to returning with a friend this year. While the course itself isn't particularly remarkable, I believe that with some improvements to the cart paths and greens, it could be quite nice. However, I'm giving it just one star due to the lack of customer service from the starters. We had a late tee time of 6 PM and were told to leave the ninth hole at 7:50 PM. I was caught off guard by this, especially since it doesn't get dark until 9 PM in the summer. I was very disappointed with the staff's attitude, and while the course seems tailored for casual or new golfers, it didn’t feel welcoming to those of us who are more average players. Considering the price, there are much better options in the Youngstown area, and I would recommend steering clear of this one.

I attended a charitable event at this restaurant, and it was fantastic. The only issue I had with the layout was the signage; it was unclear where to go next. The steak was excellent, and the pulled pork sandwiches were outstanding.

The Albatross restaurant is open once more! I'm so happy they’re back.

The course ranger kicked me off at 7:50 pm when I was on the last hole when sunset was after 9 and was extremely rude about it. I will never play here again
