Completely unprofessional. I feel so sorry for friends who went to try and support this mediocre business. Please read ALL of the photos that I’m about to upload. I will start with the owners three page very unprofessional message and follow up with proof that it was never asked of them to “bend” policy or whatever. Drove an hour to try this place out, and I'm convinced the reason it has so many rave reviews is because it's the only thing available in the area. I specifically looked at their menu on the website to make sure that their would be food within my dietary restrictions. The website noted that you could order things outside of the weekend brunch menu (we went on a Sunday). Not only could we not order anything off of the menu, but it was a cafeteria style establishment. We went so that I could have brisket, and none was available. We were there right after they opened, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was still smoking. It wasn't. Brisket wasn't available. The brunch meal includes a drink and cake/pie. I don't eat cake/pie, so that was a waste for me personally. Okay food, definitely not worth the drive.
I went to this restaurant for my birthday and ordered the lobster-stuffed ravioli, which was delicious. My husband got the steak and said it was one of the best he's ever had. Our kids enjoyed the blackened mahi and said it was great. We will definitely be returning, as the owner came to our table to check on us and make sure our food was good. Handicap parking was very accessible and the service for dine-in was excellent.
I had an excellent barbecue lunch with delicious sides at this restaurant! The service was great, and I dined in for lunch. The price per person was between $10-20. The food, service, and atmosphere were all rated a perfect 5 out of 5.
I am visiting from New York and my cousin Tommy brought me to this restaurant for lunch. It was the best Southern food I have ever had. Everything was excellent. I plan on coming back on Sunday for the buffet. Overall, I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect score of 5 out of 5.
