We visited on a quiet weekday in winter .. The owner spent most time with friends laughing and chatting .. Our pizzas were soggy in the middle and we thought the whole experience sadly disappointing ... What a shame as the previous reviewer pointed out this has to be the best location in town but it's obviously not a business that means very much to the owner/manager .. Seaside still in town restaurant with great food. Pizza with straciatella, pistacchio, pomodoro and pesto was one of my best. Nice service. Sunset looked picturesque. Wish to return.
I was traveling alone. I waited in the queue like everyone else, and when it was my turn I asked a table for 1. They started to speak in Italian with 3 people behind me, and after I was asked to wait a bit. They left and accommodate those 3 person who arrived after me. I understand Italian and i heard them saying that they don’t have reservations either. After, restaurant personnel come back and told me that for the moment they accepted ppl only with reservations. I told them that I know that the ppl behind they didn’t had either, and they told me in my face that because they were 3, but I can come back in 30’. I told that I will not and I will write a review. So Bottom line, if u are traveling alone, you cannot take a seat to their restaurant because they care more about the final payment of the receipt at the end, not the hospitality or the way they treat people.
This place was Grand, in the old part of town, food delicious and authentic , let the waiters recommend what they think for you
La pizza è buona nonostante la cottura elettrica sia diversa dal prezzo standard, è di ottima qualità.
