There were 8 of us (4 Mustangs) and no one complained about the food. However no one said great things either.I had a seafood chowder which was fine. The place itself was clean and well presented.Not a bad experience.

We decided to take a drive to the country for lunch and picked on Gingin as we have been here a few times in the past and like the place.There is little choice... read more We decided to take a drive to the country for lunch and picked on Gingin as we have been here a few times in the past and like the place.There is little choice in the town for lunch other than this place and the local hotel. As we had previously visited the hotel we opted for [email protected] me say the this is an appealing venue and very nicely positioned adjacent to the large park in town. We sat outside in cooler weather but enjoyed a view of the waterwheel in the park.The venue was already catering to a table of ladies (about 12) and just a few other guests. I placed our order at the counter but we waited the best part of an hour for two relatively simple meals to be served. This was an extraordinary amount of time for lunch and can only assume that there was not sufficient staff on hand to cater to a growing lunch crowd.The meals attract no complaint and were quite good.One point I was really taken back by was when my wife asked for the location of the toilets, she was directed to the public toilets in the adjacent park.... it shocked me that a licenced venue did not provide toilets.They would have no control of public conveniences as to quality and cleanliness.
