Ship Plough - Gimli

Ship and Plough is one of our favourite stops while in Gimli! This past visit we really enjoyed the Cheesy Fried Pickles in Eggroll wrap and the Cajun flavoured Ribbies were awesome! They weren’t traditional ringlets but actually seasoned crispy back ribs! Super tender and well seasoned. Service was attentive and food was fast and delicious! We’ll be back!! Food: 5

The food is awesome, we love the fish and chips. The hostess is excellent and very kind. My daughter loves the Poutine. Very authentic dark wood hard decor, warm and welcoming atmosphere Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing and friendly staff, margaritas are fantastic. Food is excellent especially the cheese toast. Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came into the resteraunt with 2 other couples we sat down the server handed us menus which were crinkled paper. We were then told we will be given one bill and an automatic tip of 18%. We werent asked if that would be alright or if we wanted anything to drink and the server walked away in his shorts and sandals. So we left. I understand resteraunts do this for groups and parties but I have never had dinner with 6 people and couldn't get separate bills. So we went down the road to interlake brewing Co and we had excellent service and separate bills with no automatic tip. I won't be back ship&plough
