I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered the sopes with Al pastor and carne asada. The food was delicious, and the red salsa really enhanced the flavors. I highly recommend checking this place out. It's a clean spot with excellent Mexican cuisine! View all feedback.
What Abdiel G doesn't like about Tacos El Grullense:
Not sure what happened to this place. It was one of the best spots in Gilroy back in the day. The carne asada is boiled, grey and rubbery with zero flavor. The tacos are small with a pinch of meat and for some reason always cold. I guess today was the last time I get food here. The food is the same at all locations in Gilroy so it's must be there standard of food. View all feedback.
Decided to have some tacos today two of tripa and two of al pastor tacos are always fire and really hit the spot I haven't had anything go wrong with el Grullense... First time at this location there horchata is pretty good as well
This restaurant never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious throughout the various items. The service is always friendly and thorough with each individual order. I highly recommend ordering from here!
Stopped by for a quick bite on our way to gilroy gardens. The service was quick and friendly . We did not have to wait very long to get our delicious food. The chorizo tacos were my favorite. We'll be back next time we're in town

Quick service, they cook up the tacos in view so you know what you're getting, prompt service and wasn't busy. Perfect place to pick up some quick tacos while waiting for a car wash across the street
