I had the Linguicia... read more On our way home, we stopped in Gilroy and stumbled upon OD's Kitchen. The service was outstanding, and the food came out quickly and fresh. I had the Linguicia Omelet, which I thought was even better than traditional Portuguese sausage; it was topped with green onions that reminded me of home. The homemade hash browns and cookies were delightful as well. The quality and portion sizes of the food were very generous; we even had leftovers to take with us. I highly recommend checking out this place if you're in the San Jose/Monterey area, as it's conveniently situated between the two.

The service and the atmosphere, along with a few charming quirks, were fantastic. If you're in search of a fancy, upscale dining experience, this isn’t the spot for you. However, if you want a warm, cozy café with great food at a good price, then you’re in for a treat! Enjoy!

Also, the remodeled interior is beautiful! Vegetarian options: Great omelettes that can be made meatless and filled with veggies, plus sweet treats like french toast and pancakes if you’re okay with eggs and dairy! Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating to requesting meat be removed from signature dishes. (Kitchen Sink sans ham with a poached egg is delightful)
