Very impressed by this pub. many varied seating places and a good pub menu with many options to very favorable trips. most of our party had the burgers and they were really good, came with chips (crispy on the outside and fluffy kartoffels . would definitely visit again.

Lovely pub, popped in just for a drink and really enjoyed our visit. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. We didn't eat but the food looked great so we will be going back to try it out soon. The barman was a good laugh and very welcoming. Top scores for this boozer and well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Had a lovely meal out this evening with 6 other friends, they had staff down so was a bit of a wait but Oliver served us most of the night and had outstanding customer service and made everything asked for happen! He needs recognition he handled the ques and aggressive customers perfectly well! Made our night!

We really enjoy dining here; the food is of excellent quality and the portions are generous. The atmosphere is pleasant as well. Last Wednesday, we went for dinner and had a few drinks. To our surprise, we discovered it was quiz night! We decided to join in, and it added an extra layer of fun to an already wonderful evening. The manager is a genuinely nice guy who not only hosted the quiz but also took the time to introduce himself and chat with us at the end of the night. We will definitely be back!

We had ordered a three-course Christmas dinner for four adults, along with some nibbles like pigs in blankets and potato cakes, which we had already paid for online prior to our visit. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive our children’s meals, but we opted not to complain since it was clear the staff were overwhelmed. The actual meal was delicious and perfectly portioned, so we had no complaints there. Overall, the establishment was quite nice, with friendly staff and good food. However, I can’t give it top marks because it was clearly understaffed and somewhat disorganized.
