despite booking a table for 4 two days in advance, at the arrival we were told there was a 20-30 minutes waiting for the table. I ordered a pasta dish which was probably the best GF pasta I have had. But, I had to rely on accepting their word it was GF as it was served in the same/similar crockery as regular orders and didn't have anything like a little GF flag. All was OK, but a but more reassurance would be good.
Gluten free menu for adults and rare gluten free menu for children
I was glad I had my own teeth since the steak was quite tough.
Despite reserving a table for four two days ahead of time, we were informed upon arrival that we would have to wait 20 to 30 minutes for our table. I waited for 25 minutes with my elderly mother and three-year-old daughter, but the table was still unavailable. Other patrons mentioned they had been waiting for 45 minutes. Eventually, we decided to go next door to Friendly Phil's, where we were seated within five minutes in a much nicer and better-organized environment. Overall, our experience at Frankie and Benny's was terrible; it was clear they had overbooked and the staff couldn’t manage the situation. I won’t be returning.
I ordered a pasta dish that was probably the best gluten-free pasta I've ever had. However, I had to take the staff's word for it that it was gluten-free, as it was served on the same type of dishes as the regular options and didn't have any distinguishing markers like a small gluten-free flag. Everything else was fine, but having more assurance about the gluten-free status would be appreciated.
