The place was pretty great! We came in right before close and they fired the hibachi grill up for just my boyfriend and I to enjoy my first hibachi experience. What User doesn't like about Sapporo Japanese Resaurant:
This restaurant is so gross, they must be paying off the state inspector. We were hired to clean the hoods, could not do it the roof is to flat. Water would have collapsed the roof. There's cracked tile in kitchen, the grease trap is completely plugged, food was left out all night in the kitchen. I dined here for dinner and had an exceptional experience. The meal cost between $30 and $50 per person, which I found to be quite reasonable considering the quality. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome throughout our visit, also deserving a score of 5. The atmosphere was delightful, creating a warm and inviting environment, which I rated a 5 as well. Overall, it's a fantastic place to enjoy a lovely dinner!

To start, the staff member who brought my sashimi practically threw the plate onto my table. Then, all of my food arrived before I even had a chance to finish my salad; I didn’t even get to start my soup before everything was placed in front of me. It felt like they were rushing me to leave. Moreover, my steak was cooked well done instead of the medium rare I had requested. Another minor issue was that my original waitress was not the one who completed my service, which was a bit surprising. And of course, the icing on the cake was the manager laughing at me when I tried to express my concerns. Overall, it was a frustrating experience.
