The setting of this restaurant is quite appealing, with a large terrace which unfortunately closes after 10PM to accommodate the neighbors grievances. I had a great time with friends, but the food or service did not leave me a durable impression either way. I'd gladly come back for a second opinion.

I think the food at Plaka tastes very good and if you are in the area and want to have Greek then I would even recommend it. However I have to compare it with original food from when I was in Greece and you also have to keep a differentiation with the very very good restaurants. Food: The food here is very good for the price/quality range that this restaurant operates in. One minus point is that in my sauce I had a hair in the middle of it. They immediately appologized and brought me a new one so all was ok. But you know that feeling once you found something never really goes away... Atmosphere: The atmosphere is ok. Nothing special but you can feel cozy in it. Staff: Very very friendly staff and quick too. Conclusion: If you are in GIlching and want Greek food then this is the place to go. I would recommend it for you if you are looking at something mid-range and the quality to go with it.

You don't wait for a long time, and the place is cozy and affordale. Definitely will go there again. Try their chicken meals, they are always very good! And don't forget the dessert.
