Netshed No. 9 - Gig Harbor

Having prepared my own chili for over 50 years, I am incredibly particular about it. My friends and I found ourselves debating whether this chili was a close second to mine or if mine came in second to this one. The flavors were amazing and complex, and, as it should be, there were absolutely no beans.

This is an amazing place for breakfast! The menu is fantastic, the service is exceptional, and the views from the deck are absolutely breathtaking.

What a fantastic spot for breakfast or lunch! I tried the clam chowder, and it was delicious. The lemon curd and blueberry French toast was also outstanding! The restaurant tends to get busy, so it's a good idea to put your name down early for a table—especially if you want to sit outside or in the shade on a hot day. The staff were very friendly, and the service was excellent. We enjoyed some lovely water views with Mount Rainier in the background.

My family had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch here. The food, service and view were awesome. Of course, it being Mother's Day, there was a wait but we were able to enjoy a glass of wine out in front while we waited. Another perfect meal at NetShed No. 9! Kid-friendliness: My 8 month old grandson was welcomed with a high chair, celebrating his mom's first Mother's Day!

Great place. Good food, great servers, great view from the deck. We will be back.
