This Mexican restaurant is excellent. They offer a wide variety of dishes on their menu. I highly recommend trying the El Chingon Tacos with lime cilantro rice and black beans. Although I didn't have a chance to try the margaritas, I heard they are amazing, along with many other drink, food, and dessert options. The salsa served with the chips is exceptional. What Mary Hill doesn't like about Moctezuma's Mexican Restaurant Tequila Bar:
Unfortunately, this was the worst Mexican food experience I have ever had. I will not be returning. I ordered a taco and tostada plate with beef, but when my food arrived, the taco beef was burnt to a crisp and inedible. The tostada was supposed to be beef, but came out as chicken instead. Not sure what’s happening at this restaurant. New owners? Whatever it is , change it back. Food quality is very poor, new menu and higher prices. No longer my go to place. I won’t be back. Love. Love. Love. Stopped here for lunch on a random road trip and we are so glad we did. Great food menu to pair with an excellent tequila menu. Our server was prompt and friendly. The food was perfectly spiced and presented. I have the vegetarian Parrilla Bowl and it was amazingly delicious. The Hubs had the Baja fish tacos and was impressed, which is not easily done with him. The chips and salsa were delicious. The house made corn tortillas were a bit bland and doughy but great for scooping. The music was a little loud for lunchtime This is one of the best regional Mexican food we've eaten and will definitely go back!

There are plenty of better Mexican restaurants to choose from. It's a mystery how this place stays in business with food like what we were served.
