Halftime Sports Saloon - Gig Harbor

Large bar with pool tables and decent atmosphere. But the bartenders I have experienced only give attention to the regulars. I type 25% minimum as long as you acknowledge my existence. But Kyra could hardly be disturbed to say hi, let alone ask what I wanted to drink. All her attention was on the regulars.

This place is amazing. The staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is cool. The food is amazing. Very recommend the Tacos and Nachos, everything is great tho. Tuesday is Trivia Night, has music and billiard tables.

Derek... if you hate your job, just say it and go. The second experience presented here was less than desirable. Summer 2022 was not busy in the afternoon, but Derek served and seemed upset. Tonight, his temperament got the best of him. Never again. Gig Harbor has a selection of bars, but never sick again. Better Derek.

The Halftime is nothing special physically, but it is reminiscent of 1000s of town local bars where you can have cheap beer and fun, eating fried bar food (good nachos) occasional live music, pool, golden tee, trivia video games etc...its a homey local staple of Gig Harbor where the real people go.

I know the owners and they run a tight ship.This is a place where you can go an play some pool, maybe do some karaoke or even have a trivia night.The only think I have not been able to talk him into is having live music again.Don't get me wrong, I understand his reasoning and it's valid, but sometimes I just want to listen to some live music.The Staff are amazing and most of the people are really great people but just like any other Saloon, you gonna have that one person to have to much of something and act a fool.Trust me that get taken care of real quick.If you think you might act a fool, this is not the place to visit.Ok Y'all in closing I give this place a big thumbs up for many reasons.
