This was our first time here since the restaurant reopened. We really wanted to like it, but we're a little disappointed. We both ordered combination plates, mine with Tsao chicken my wife's with honey walnut shrimp. The both came with chicken chowmein. The chowmein tasted very fresh. The shrimp dish was surprising, as they served large prawns. My Tsao chicken was mediocre. We might give it a second try. View all feedback.
What Marissa Manning doesn't like about Dragon's Bistro:
The restaurant has rebranded over the years. Its latest reincarnation LOOKS better, however, tonight I just spend 80 for two people and only good item were the oversized crab Rangoon. I immediately questioned our main dishes as soon as brought out and was told “well this is how WE make it”. We had two bites from our main dishes. I have never NOT paid for a meal but I wanted to tonight. We were not offered anything in... View all feedback.

Food was delicious! Good portions, a little bit expensive but it was worth it.

Nice local place to get good Chinese food. I recommend the Almond Chicken, very good.
Ugh what a disappointment. After having eaten at the original Hunan Garden for many, many years (and having been to multiple Asian countries), I was sad to see it went out of business and was replaced by this Asian restaurant. I had heard it was the same menu, but found out that it is not the same quality. The Walnut Prawns at Hunan were iconic. The best Walnut Prawns I 've ever had. They were practically a dessert. This place has absolutely butchered the recipe. The prawns are borderline flavorless and there 's no peaches. The syrup is strictly coating the prawns and barely existent as a dip for the walnuts, so the walnuts are super dry. They don 't break them up either, so you get gigantic pieces of walnut in each bite and there aren 't even enough to have ONE per prawn. Don 't even bother trying to have one per bite, which the name of the dish would imply. They might as well be garnish. The beef and snow peas was bland as well. It 's like they took all the interesting flavors out of all the Hunan recipes. The food looks like it should be rich and hearty, but you eat it and taste very little. I cannot stress how bland this food is.Same goes for the egg rolls and chicken fried rice. Absolutely NO flavor. There 's no point in repeating myself beyond that. The fortune cookies were completely stale. The crab rangoon was the only thing resembling something I 'd call tasty , but most of the work is done by the sweet and sour sauce, which they supplied us 2 giant cartons of. It 's as if they 're sending the message that we need to drench ALL the dishes in this stuff to get any kind of flavor out of it.I won 't go back here. You 'll find better flavor in a Panda Express and I won 't touch that place with a 10 foot pole.
