We were out for a drive in our new car on Avon Descent weekend and came around the corner and spotted the Noble Falls Tavern just at the right time for lunch so pulled in. Couldn't fault a thing - exceptional service from the experienced bar man who knew exactly what questions to ask a girl who didn't know what drink to order, and the menu was varied enough to easily find something substantial whilst still fresh and... What User doesn't like about Noble Falls Tavern:
Was hearing great things about this tavern ,but not quite what we had hoped for. Firstly the waitress taking orders missed one of our group of 9's order. Drinks were produced quickly and correctly. Then we waited quite a while for our meals that did arrive together....- 1! No reorder was offered. We shared. One child could not eat is pattie. My steak sandwich was only OK. Called in here a couple of times in the last month, cold beer and good counter meals,Sundays have live music and friendly staff.
Had a delicious lunch and great wine in a relaxed informal setting. Could see the falls from the balcony

Nothing flash for the price. The veggie stack was expensive for what was served. The place was packed.....so obviously it serves the purpose . It was decor was dark and poorly lit but the fire was welcoming. My second effort there....no mobile or cream last time for coffee. Both times we were hosting our American family.

Couldn't fault a thing - exceptional service from the experienced bar man who knew exactly what questions to ask a girl who didn't know what drink to order, and the menu was varied enough to easily find something substantial whilst still fresh and suitable for my "diet". It was a popular time of day, on a busy weekend but we had no trouble finding a table on the verandah and enjoyed sunshine, a view, and table service. Have already recommended to friends, thanks.
Stopped there for a late lunch - the beef bacon and mushroom pie was substantial, and good value, and it was quite pleasant sitting on the verandah, enjoying the view overlooking the valley. Will certainly be back.
