The worker at the restaurant was extremely kind and attentive. She pointed out all the clearly labeled vegan options, of which there were six or seven. We enjoyed a delicious Indian-inspired puff tuna roll. This place is highly recommended for a satisfying afternoon snack while visiting Gibsons. View all feedback.
What LT doesn't like about Sandy's Bake Shoppe:
My husband asked the lady at the register which items she recommends. Her answer was “everything”. Thanks lady, we can’t buy everything. She wasn’t trying to be funny but seemed rather annoyed. My husband proceeded to converse with her but he was met with single word answers despite having a striking conversation with the gentleman before us. Service was terrible. We shouldn’t have tipped. Don’t come here. View all feedback.
Some of the only vegan treats around the area, and I have really chased something sweet! Lady worked there was SUPER nice and glad I came in. Vegan roll was good cold, would have been better in a toaster oven. Muffin was really good. The cookie was okay, not great. Overall I was happy!
They didn't try anything else, but the Brownies alone are worth a visit!!
The lady working there was very sweet and helpful, she showed on all (very well marked) vegan options, of which there were six or seven. We ended up with a hearty Indian-inspired puff drum that was very beautiful. Would recommend it as a good place for an afternoon snack while in Gibsons.
I was searching for a sweet treat and found some of the only vegan options in the area at this restaurant. The lady working there was extremely nice and I was glad I decided to stop in. The vegan roll was tasty, although I think it would have been even better if heated in a toaster oven. The muffin was delicious and filling. The cookie was okay, not great. Overall, I left happy with my experience.
The woman working at the restaurant was incredibly kind and accommodating. She showed us the clearly marked vegan options, of which there were six or seven. We decided to try the delicious savory Indian-inspired puff pastry roll, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I would recommend this place as a great spot for a tasty afternoon snack in Gibsons.
