We stopped in for a tasting and some lunch. The beers we had were all very good, they have a nice variety here. There is seating both inside and out. On week days they have a limited menu for food, and on weekends a food truck outside provides the eats. They had pizza( only one kind) and tacos on the weekend we were here. I was dropping by just to try their beer, on my way to the ferry. I had to wait quite a while for a glass of beer. In all fairness the place was very busy. I would not wait for the line up for pizza. View all feedback.
Nice place to sit and enjoy delicious beer. Beautiful, farm setting with a casual atmosphere, inspires long leisurely afternoons with friends and family.
Nice relaxed atmosphere and I like how you can sit anywhere if you are chasing the sun in late fall! Had a flight and enjoyed 3 of the 4 samples. Never tried the pizza but definitely will next visit !
I brought a class of college students studying sustainable housing and the environment of the Sunshine Coast to Persephone for lunch. We all had great food, a wonderful time in the sun and found out Persephone does tours. So we came back for a tour of the farm and brewery and learned so much about their commitment to preserving the environment. Don't miss the awesome bookshop upstairs!
This is a great place to stop after getting off of the Langdale ferry to relax for a bit or to fill up growlers. Also a great place to go before you get on the ferry (refill the growlers! . There is seating inside and outside...the selections of beer will keep everyone happy. In addition to having grounds to wander around you can learn a whole bunch about beer making and harvesting hops from the hops vineyard. The food may have been a little over priced...but perhaps creating a unique relaxing/socializing/drinking/eating experience justifies some food items costing more than they might in a regular restaurant. HINT: Go to the pay counter first (middle of the store and then to the fill counter (closest to the door .
To be honest ... second choice as the place we intended to go to was closed ... Persephone had a lunch menu and beer sandwich was good as was the beer. We sat at a table in the field close to the Corn Hole game. Nice Atmosphere. Price for a sandwich and beer was higher than what I had expected to pay. COVID vaccine verification enforced Thank You.
