Quick attention from our server (hardest working server I 've seen in a while but inordinate delay for our food; simple chicken pasta and Asian salad. Food arrived: pasta hot on the outside, warm on the middle telling me it probably sat under the heat lamps a while. Salad mainly a mass of noodles with minimal other ingredients. Unpleasantly spicy/hot (wasabi peas overdone? . The pasta was decidedly 'meh '; tasted more like Bechamel sauce than Al Fredo. The cheese was virtually absent (I was told there 's parmesan on top , otherwise I wouldn 't have known . I 've eaten at the Blackfish lots over the years; always happy with the good, basic pub food. Not this time. They took my meal off the bill (I didn 't want that; all I wanted was improvement and, again, our server was VERY hard working and took my concerns (she asked to heart. Still thinking whether I 'll be back probably not too soon.

The back patio is dog friendly so we really appricated that during the summer travels!Im sure most of the their food is good as it has good reviews however the beef dip was only so-so sadly, pretty plain, the bun was decent but the Dip wasnt flavored enough, tasted watered down and the sandwich lacked flavor too unfortunately. Bland a tad dry, and with an upcharge for the Caesar salad my meal was around $24 for a simple plain beef dip and small salad, then add tax and tip and it wasnt an overly large dinner. LolI could see maybe if the beef was real roast beef they do in house or was a large portion or something for the price, but it was the generic restaurant thin slice beef most places serve. Maybe it needed (more mayo or garlic butter and more of a toasted bun?... Im generally not overly picky but a little more to it would be nice if charging those prices.The pulled pork sandwich was said to be decent enough when I asked how it was, so thats good.The servers were very friendly and a nice place.Id just prob order something else next time and get more bang for your buck. Its a tad pricer then most pubs but that could just be the areas pricing. ;

We asked ou... read more We finally found a restaurant where all six of us enjoyed our meals! We decided to try this place based on a recommendation and we were glad we did. We asked our waitress about the spiciness of the maple Chipotle ribs and she assured us they were mild. Half of us ordered them and were pleasantly surprised by how mild they actually were. The clam chowder was delicious and the garlic toast was excellent. The only complaint about the French Onion soup was that the onions were not chopped well, making it difficult to eat. The side tossed salad was small, but the waitress did mention this and said we could ask for more if needed. Overall, we would recommend this restaurant.

She was extremely profes... read more After a rough day, my group and I decided to dine at the BlackfishPub where our fantastic server, Courtenay, turned our evening around. She was extremely professional, friendly, polite, and understanding. The service was top-notch. I highly recommend their menu, particularly the delicious creamy clam chowder, the steak served with real mashed potatoes, gravy, mushrooms, and carrots. For dessert, I enjoyed the amazing chocolate cake. Thank you, BlackfishPub. I will definitely be returning for more in the future.
