When I went online searching for the best Chinese food in Edmonton this place in Gibbons came up. While obviously not in YEG, we decided to make the 1/2 hour (from north side) trek out there to find out. Glad and sad we did. Glad because the food was excellent in a North American Chinese food way-sad because it a bit of a trip to become a regular. I (over) ordered ( knowing I'd want leftovers) the combo A which included either wonton soup or an egg roll (both of which I judge a Chinese restaurant by) which included chicken fried rice, chicken balls, beef
We eat there frequently and have gotten many friends addicted to it. I know people who drive from Sherwood Park just for Chinese food here. Well worth it and the prices are good. Restaraunt is a bit outdated but the restaraunt has no control over that as it is the building managers issue.
