We had breakfast and dinner in this little jem of a restaurant. In our weeks holiday we ate in a different venue every day. To be honest, everywhere we ate did not disappoint. What made this place different was Maria Grazia and her wonderful staff. They were excellent and simply could not do enough for their customers. The prices are very competitive. Highly recommended. What Barry S doesn't like about Cafe' Sikelia:
Waited some time to be seated and then a while to order and be served. The spaghetti pomodoro was well presented and tasteful, however the escalope porcini was a disaster. It suggests it comes in a creamy sauce, but it looked like the chef tipped a tin of mushroom soup over the limited portions of veal (gristle included) and then somehow caused it to curdled. Very pleasant lunch in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. The panini’s were very fresh and full of good things. The staff are very welcoming. We’ll be back.
We had a lovely dinner with a perfect selection of sea food, pasta and take-away pizza. Local wine was very nice. The best restaurant in the street. I regret we discovered it so late.
A great little restaurant with fantastic food! The young Swedish lady front of house was so helpful and friendly, she made a great visit even better!
Top restaurant! high quality food, honest prices that reflect the freshness and goodness of food. not to mention the owners who are beautiful and strange friendly and friendly people. We were eating a brunch at sikelia me and my companion (15:00,) I had no t-shirt when we arrived (forbidden to consume without having a high,) the boss lent me a nickel shirt so that we could eat, I ordered the omelette with bacon, I received a very generous plate as we rarely find in the tourist places. The welcome is top and the waitress very nice, she took care of us! in short, you can eat correctly for cheap, don't hesitate to take a tour! the boss speaks English French and Italian.
