we have set ourselves without checking tripadvisor. had we done that, we could have gone on. we didn't do it for happiness. our beautiful hostess gave us excellent local wine (red and white), heavy fish with chili tomaten caper soße, sphagetti with garlic, chili and olive oil, and a mixed salad. delicious! and it costs as little! as I said. Roadside establishment with average food for not much money. Our pasta dishes were either bland or over seasoned. I suspect we may have chosen poorly but then again, all dishes in the menu should be worthy of their place or should be removed. In hindsight, the outdoor seating area was also too close to a busy road leading to engine fumes permeating the seating area. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly. View all feedback.
Don't let them turn off from the tourist photo menu! the food is freshly prepared and so delicious service really friendly and genuine. 3 curs fish or meat menus 16/15) were both super. felt much more authentic than some of the bright...shiny beach places on the street. delicious!
This dining room with veranda overlooking the naxos promenade is part of a thick series of similar restaurants: which line via naxos we chose it because it was very close to our beach club. Among other things, it offers tourist menus at a fixed price: the...at least in italy is not a high quality note. but we stayed away from this offer, and that may have influenced the quality of our lunch. our group was three adult plus a baby, and we chose two first courses and two main dishes: two spaghetti with seafood, a hard fish and garnel dish, grilled crawl. without being exceptional, all these foods were perfect. like my supplement grilled aubergine (the other supplement, green salate, was decent). the service was quite fast, the bill was fair: 50 euro, including water, two wine glasses and a small beer.
Our waitress was very attentive. Food was good for the price and location was great. For a relatively cheap might out you could not fault it.
We were in Rome and Florence before visiting Giardini Naxos. We tried some of the best restaurants suggested by tripadvisor there and ate very tasty. None the less this place is serving the best food we tried on Sicily and in the whole of Italy...and for a very decent price also! We tried as much as possible from the completely homemade menu and loved everything we ate! You can tell its not fast food but really prepared specially for you, with love! Don't pay attention to how the place looks from the outside, which is simple.. Wait until you taste the food! I most definitely would suggest every visitor to Giardini Naxos to try the swordfish rolls served here, it was really very special! But that actually could be said about everything we tried! From pasta to antipasta, 5 out of 5 stars!
Buona la pizza, ottimo il tiramisù, buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Caffè in omaggio. Personale gentile premuroso, sicuramente ci ritorneremo.
