We decided to try the full DIY experience at this restaurant, creating our own salads and serving our own soft serve ice cream. It was all tasty and enjoyable. The atmosphere was a bit chilly, but we appreciated that they were clear about which options were vegan, including the honey. View all feedback.
What Emas Tarihoran doesn't like about Alchemy:
alchemy is one of the many spots in ubud that offer raw food delights. although not my number one is to be seen, it is still worth getting in and murning on a few magical idiots. the raw Mexican plate is a nice place to begin. in the corner of the restaurant there is also a small loading area that offers a limited selection of superfoods, dried Balinese fruits and jams (traditional Balinese cure). Alchemy vegan joys. healthy conscious eating prepared with love. relaxing location with very comfortable seating, kid friendly. great workstations with ok internet. amazing business with many choices for holistic products and spa related items as well as gifts.
We had the most incredible vegan breakfast when visiting Ubud. If you want to eat fresh and nourishing food full of nutrients and life force do not miss this place on your next trip. The restaurant is not on the main Ubud strip so could be a bit of a walk or drive there if not staying close. Well worth it though.
An immersive vegan experience. I think I went with such high expectations from other people's and the internet's recommendations that the food, service and interior just did not live up to what I had in mind. The waffles are hard and the pancakes are sticky. Small portions too. However, the cheese cake was to die for!
This place ain't bad but we do not eat garlic onions due to sulphone hydroxyl ion in garlic onions. This naturally is difficult dinning out because most people and chefs believe garlic and onions gives good flavors. With that said... There is only 2 dishes on the main course that does not use garlic and onion. And a couple of waffles on the breakfast menu... thats all we ordered and left hungry. If mind and well being is of concern to you i suggest looking for another place that does not use garlic onions in every recipe...
My favorite restaurant worldwide! When I first visited Bali, I was obsessed with her anointments because they may have the best salatable on the earth. I still remember coming to Bali for the first time and being so overwhelmed that I could hardly talk. these boring things that can be bought at several brands, which consists mainly of iceberg salat, cold oven cold tomato and some gurke, are not even salate. that's how to make an salate. the salatable of alchemy is four meters long, and in a large bowl (the size should be a salat bowl should be one in the standard salabs gets five of their beautiful ingredients to choose. Of course, I could never settle with only five if it was so much interesting and normally ended with about seven (a very wise and worth-for-money selection imagine roher pad thai, marinated mini mushrooms, spiced vegetables, olives, kokosnussbacon. they grow much in themselves and the bowl is free. go easy! my second and third remain, which I have merified even more by their smoothie bullets. the blase is from this world! gosh, I wish alchemy was in my small Swedish village. in addition, the place has a very nice bathroom and a great interieur to relax for hours!
