A nice place to eat. Good food. Rest of Pelling was a nightmare for us. A sick hotel with sick food, no taste, only oil, and potatoes like hard sponge balls, unbreakable. This place came as a saviour. At least had nice food during our stay in Pelling. View all feedback.

Wanted to eat something local than the usual chowmein and momo...found out this place after a lot of searching...their local thali is great with lots of variety of fresh vegetables and your choice of meat...go for pork sausages. View all feedback.

We stopped for lunch on 2 different days in between our sightseeing at Pelling in May 2017. Thukpa and momos were good, the one-man waiter was good. We ordered dal rice on one day along with egg-curry. Dal was excellent but egg curry had no spice or salt or taste! Chapatis were good on our first visit, but on our second visit, we were told that there were no chapatis as dough had not been kneaded, so we stuck to rice. Another thing, on day 2, we didn't get the same dal as the earlier day, and the plain dal was very basic.
Big bowl was just like a big bowl of the mountain when it was seen. View of this big bowl attracts us to visit this place.
Had lunch here one day and it was nothing to write home about. Veg thali or meal as they call it, were the veg part wasnt great and the dhal was very weakSort of nice location if you can get a window table and watch the world go by outside. Dinning options are very limted in Pelling.
