Description

Perched on a vineyard estate with sweeping mountain views and a charming outdoor terrace, this restaurant offers standout dishes, pizzas and Coppola wines amid gorgeous landscaping and film-memorabilia charm. It’s ideal for families, couples and celebrations, delivering memorable scenery and flavorful plates. However, repeated reports of slow or disorganized service, mistimed wine pairings, occasional cold entrees and menu/price changes can undermine the experience—great for the view and food, but expect uneven timing and staff performance.

On the plus side, pizzas Luigino and pepperoni along with a Caesar salad were delicious, and the patio view is lovely. On the minus side, the prices have increased a lot, and a few of my favorites: the burger and penne with meatball were taken off the menu.

Everything was perfect! Their grill-master is the best. You can't find food like this anywhere else in Sonoma county, especially the grilled veggies. It's pricy to some, but remember you get what you pay for! The service is second to none as well. And the views...

We always have a great experience at Coppola...ask for George...I eat Kosher and love their Risotto, asking to make it without Pancetta is never a problem...I had my favorite ingredient, mushrooms.

Rustic is a gem. Every dish I've had here is perfectly cooked and served beautifully. The staff is friendly and attentive to just the right degree, and the views from the patio are splendid. We'll definitely be back and will continue to bring our friends.

I did not rate the service highly, not because of our server, who was fantastic and did her best. To start with, they could not find our reservation at the hostess stand, which was a tad bit offputting. The other reasons for the three stars: Pre meal cocktails took an inordinately long amount of time, perhaps because the bar wasn 't adequately staffed ? hard to say what the problem was, but it was a long wait for cocktails ordered initially, and an even longer wait for the wine to pair with the entrees with the result that the wine came after we were finished eating our meal. There is definitely some sort of an issue that the restaurant needs to address. It seemed that our server was in the weeds, as they say. The food arrived in a timely manner, but if you arrive hungry, be sure to order a starter. Our corner on the patio was pleasantly quiet, but I imagine the inside, with its cozy booths and old school Italian restaurant vibe, would have been equally inviting. I can picture myself enjoying a meal there on a cold or rainy day in winter. The scenery, grounds, and collection of film memorabilia make Coppola an extraordinary place. I feel blessed to live close by, and I know I will go often and definitely take anyone visiting there.
