Dating fro... read more This is a truely beautiful old spot, a building consisting of 3 parts, one of them containing a "kornbrennerei", say a still, the other a restaurant. Dating from 1780, really nice. I had a very good meal here, and of course a local made liquor. Meat was great, staff very friendly, interior of the restaurant warm and old. Can recommend it.

Whether braised ox cheeks, venison ragout, burgers, or a salmon bowl: every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and demonstrated creativity. Unfortunately, not everyone can match that level of service. While the staff is always friendly and helpful, guests should definitely bring some patience and a sense of humor. However, the cozy pub/restaurant atmosphere of Saure makes it easy to linger a few minutes longer. The portions are generous, and the price is reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. I'll definitely be back!
