Enjoyed this pub. As soon as we sat down at the bar, we were greeted by the bartender who took our drink orders promptly. We enjoyed our first round of drinks while listening to the live music. We ordered the scotch eggs for an appetizer, which did not disappoint. What William Wolf doesn't like about The Garryowen Irish Pub:

Do not order the beef stew if you're hungry. The size of the portion is miniscule. More like an appetizer than an entree.
Great experience. Had a Party of 4 and were seated immediately. Our waitress was very polite and friendly We ordered the Irish nachos and I strongly recommend them. Shepherds Pie, Bangers, Fish n chips and beef stew. We were all very satisfied. I'm pretty sure we'll be back when in town again.
Great place to dine. We make it a point to stop here every visit to Gettysburg.
Excellent service, prompt, friendly. The Shepherd's Pie was on point, and the pint was the icing on the cake.
This is a true Irish pub. Most Irish bars in the US are essentially sports bars that serve Guinness. The Garryowen, on the other hand, just feels like a true Irish pub. Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, and excellent traditional Irish sessions the first and third Sunday of every month. I really cherish this place.
