The service at this restaurant was excellent and the ambiance was fantastic. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The coffee was good, although it could have been a bit stronger for my liking, but it had a rich flavor. My husband and son ordered smoothies which were not too sweet, so they added sugar and were happy with them. They were gone quickly. Overall, the food was good. View all feedback.

I ordered a latte and a breakfast sandwich to go. I was informed that it would take around 10-15 minutes for my sandwich. I agreed and waited for my order. My sandwich arrived in a to-go box after 20 minutes, slightly longer than expected but it was okay. However, I had not received my latte yet. I asked the barista and she said it was on its way. I sat down, finished my sandwich, and waited some more. It had been ov... View all feedback.
We sat on the front porch. They also have a wonderful garden behind the restaurant. I think there are times they even have live music. Check their website.
We were just going to get a nice breakfast and then…WHAT A DISASTER! We were charged for the food that we didn’t ordered! Their muffins were old and hard to eat, I asked to get a fresh one and the guy said that he can reheat…an old muffin which is 5$ ! Expensive place for the quality! And the guy who took our order wasn’t helping us with all menu options, not professional at all. We won’t come back is sure.
You will not want to miss this place! The combination of delectable food pairings, the unique art for sale, the charming atmosphere and the amazing and friendly staff Zach, Kidd and Nicole all amount to splendidness!!!
First visit to Gettysburg. Visiting from Miami,FL while spending a week in the area attending a conference. Up early and was looking for a smoothie. While most smoothie places open up at 10am, this shop opens at 6:30am and I was pleasantly delighted by the offerings at this quaint shop. Wide variety of coffees, teas, smoothie, pastries and a French toast with egg and sausage frittata. So many wonderful options to try. I selected the Blackbelt smoothie (which has a combination of spinach, banana and another fruit). I was adventurous and added lavender to my smoothie and requested an oat milk base. (Unfortunately they were out of whey protein). My partner selected an apple crumble and small Costa Rican coffee. The shop reminded him of coffee houses in Europe. The Ragged Edge Coffee house seems popular with locals. There is a second level upstairs with additional seating and a play area for toddlers . We had an opportunity to meet with one of the owners Mr. Phil was sitting at a table downstairs. He was very friendly and personable. We enjoyed our morning visit here and look forward to returning again before leaving the area. Parking: Street parking Kid-friendliness: Play area for toddlers upstairs on second level.
Don't go here if your in a hurry. Staff appeared stoned and service was slow. One breakfast sandwich was $9.65. Spend 60 bucks and added a 5 dollar tip to get very slow service. Be sure to tip after you experience the service. We were the only ones in the store.
