Rarely have I eaten such a bad pizza – absolutely not recommended We were passing through and wanted to order a takeaway pizza around 5:20 p.m. We were told it... read more Rarely have I eaten such a bad pizza – absolutely not recommended We were passing through and wanted to order a takeaway pizza around 5:20 p.m. We were told it would take a moment, which we estimated to be about 30 minutes – but ultimately, we waited over an hour. That would have been annoying enough, but what happened while we were waiting was completely inappropriate: The pizza chef repeatedly insulted the young generation and loudly declared that they were to blame for the decline of the restaurant industry. We, as customers, were also criticized when we casually mentioned that we made our own pizzas – our Ooni oven was supposedly the biggest piece of crap and we had no patience anymore, they said. After we politely addressed the long wait, the tone became even harsher. We didn 't feel welcome at all as customers, but rather dismissed. The pizza itself was unfortunately also disappointing. The dough was pressed so hard by a machine that all the air was expelled – the result was a rock-hard, almost inedible pizza. The crusts were barely biteable, the tomato sauce was very simple, and the cheese was low-quality grated cheese from a packet that practically crumbled off the pizza while eating. The taste was lacking in fresh ingredients, and the flavor was unattainable – unfortunately, not even on par with a ready-made pizza. The ambiance also left a lot to be desired: The place was unkempt, people were smoking in the dining room, and overall, you didn 't feel at all comfortable while waiting. Conclusion: One of the worst experiences we 've ever had at a pizzeria. Absolutely not recommended in terms of quality or service – we definitely won 't be back.
