What Gillian M doesn't like about Tacos El Pariente:
I usually enjoy the birria tacos with consume, but for the first time, my order was no good. The consume was luke-warm and the tacos soggy as though they had been sitting around for a while. I picked up my food the first time they called that my order was ready. I was home in under 5 minutes, as I live next door. All food should be made fresh. Wasted $13 bucks. View all feedback.
Good food, but took about 45 minutes for a basic, small order. Service needs improvement it was difficult to get someone to take our order.Despite the good meal, I don't think I could recommend this food truck. Disappointing because I wanted to love it!
They never answer the phone and on purpose constantly disconnect online orders. If you do manage to get an online order they have a window for pick up which is useless because you can stand in front of it and they ignore the heck out of you. One time I stood there for 10 mins without being acknowledged to pick up my food. Then I went to the other line pretending that I was going to order and waited 10 mins and asked for my food which they gave to me in 3 seconds. They could have done that in seconds but they chose to ignore that window.It really defeats the purpose of ordering online if you will be ignored once you pick up. Then again they constantly disconnect online orders so one way or another you get screwed.
Love this place! I only recently discovered it. Has some of the most FLAVORFUL birria tacos. The consome is the real treat!
Every single time I’ve gone here it reminds me how much I love this style of cuisine. Excellent service and constant smiles are always a guarantee.
Food was great, but took over an hour to get three tacos. For a sit-down restaurant it'd be fine, but for a taco truck that's excessive.
