Was Laisha Jaskolski at Java Cafe a mag?
for the first time thanks to a teamman here. immigrated and had excellent customer service, great convo and a few laughs! I have the burrito, and let's just say it's worth it. However, I will say that the place needs a face elevator / remodel was a little dirty grungy looking. View all feedback.

What Ronaldo Torp dislikes about Java Cafe:
Absolutely horrible customer service. I cannot really pin point the reason for the rudeness other than my appearance. Even the responses to the negative reviews are defensive and reflective. No accountability is taken, ever! With an approach like that to potentially paying customers, they will see their profits plateau. Unfortunate for such a cute place. ?? View all feedback.

PROS: Good coffee, close to my workCONS: outrageously overpricedI have been here multiple times before, and the 2 stars are for the good coffee they serve. The 3 missing stars are for:1. the lack of prices on their website, and2. the fact that they charge $14 tax for a lox and bagel. That is just for the sandwich, not a combo, no drink, no chips $14+tax for a bagel with lox.I called in an order yesterday for a lox and bagel, from the menu on their website. Upon arrival, I was quoted the price as being $14 and some change. I couldn't in good conscience pay that, so I left.I called around other establishments in the area to make sure I wasn't being petty or cheap $7.67 was the first price I was quoted at Einstein Bros. Yes, that's a chain and they will have cheaper prices, but ~100% more expensive seems quite excessive. To be clear, had the prices been listed, I wouldn't have wasted my time, JavaCafe's time, or their food product I simply would have ordered a different item, or gone someplace else.

Java Cafe has received a wide range of reviews from customers, from absolutely horrible customer service to rave reviews about the delicious breakfast sandwiches and friendly atmosphere. Some praise the kind staff and great food options, while others express disappointment in the disorganization and lack of cleanliness. Despite mixed opinions on customer service and ambiance, many customers agree that Java Cafe offers tasty food and a charming, hidden gem in Germantown. They also provide a variety of menu choices, with some noting the outrageously high prices for certain items. Overall, Java Cafe seems to be a hit or miss spot depending on personal preferences, but those who appreciate good food and friendly service are likely to enjoy a visit.

Just ate here for the first time and I will be back. The people were kind and seemed to work well together and respect each other. My John’s Italian Wrap and Turtle Iced Coffee were delicious! I didn’t even get a picture bc I was so ready to eat it lol I was not expecting such a large coffee for that price!! Amazing!

I always try local as much as possible. Have been in and out over the years. But coffee is weak. Almost tea-like.

Great place for takeout but has went downhill from what I remember it as a child on the inside. Definitely not a nice deli vibe to sit in unless you go on the patio outside the chaotic boxes and disorganization inside. Food and sandwiches are great though.

I really wanted to love this place as it is locally owned and very convenient to walk to. That said, sadly, based on our three visits, this is one of of the most overrated places in Germantown. Put another way, this place is probably great for the average Germantown palette, but pales against really good coffee and breakfast places. The coffee drinks are average at best and not nearly to the quality you can find in other places such as City State, Belltower, Comeback and Jo-Jo's, for example. Frankly, if I can make a better latte at home it is not worth buying one there. The breakfast burrito was bland and the pastries just average. Full disclosure: while we have been there three times, it has been over three years since our last visit. Again, I really wish I could rate this place higher, and make it a regular stop, but the ratings given are not indicative of the quality we experienced. That said, your results may vary and you should try for yourself to make up your own mind as I think locally owned business deserve our support. I may return for another visit to see if things have changed and if so I will adjust my review.

Went for breakfast, the food was good and at a fair price. The employees were courteous and more than helpful.
