Not many places to eat here in small town Ballinger. This is the first time I brought my family here to eat. They weren't disappointed. We will return.
Found this little gem while driving through Ballinger, I had the fajitas and they were really good and flavorful. It’s an old restaurant, I even felt the ghost that occupies the establishment, don’t worry he’s a friendly one.
We always love stopping in for the dry sense of humor and sass from the lovely waitress who works there. She makes the trip worth it!
What a delightful little hidden gem we discovered! The owners are absolutely charming—it's a husband who cooks and a wife who serves. But would you dare to walk down the long, dark, mysterious hallway to the bathroom by yourself? Rumor has it that the spirit of a murdered cowboy roams this place. I definitely felt the vibe, but the food was delicious and the stories were enchanting! I'm so glad our GPS took us off the beaten path; it was truly worth it! (Imagine Vincent Price's laugh fading into the theme from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.)
