Wanda's Kitchen - Georgetown
Wanda's Kitchen
Description
A neighborhood eatery reborn under new management, praised for standout breakfasts, Mexican dishes and friendly, hands-on service from the chef-owner. Diners note tasty sandwiches and attentive staff, but experiences are inconsistent: small sides, occasional wrong orders, long waits, and greasy fried items have been reported. The space is cleaner under new leadership, though painted windows limit outside views. Worth a try for flavorful comfort food and personable service, but come with tempered expectations about portions and consistency.

Miss dinning in but the Greek food is always tasty and don't forget to try the milkshakes, chocolate is my favorite
We were pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant is now under new management. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast; the food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the place was spotless. GINO, the cook and new owner, is an amazing chef. He even came to our table to chat with us and ask how we liked the food and service. We're definitely going to be regular customers!
I visited the restaurant again and tried the Mexican food. I left feeling completely satisfied—it was delicious! The chef even came out to chat with me for about 20 minutes, and I was able to tell him how much I enjoyed the meal. The staff is truly caring and attentive, and the waitresses were fantastic as well. I will definitely be coming back soon!
Had one of their chicken baskets with legs and breast, it came with mash potatoes and biscuits. Chicken was super greasy, I could literally use all the oil from the chicken for my lawn mower. Mash potato side was cold and we could still see the instant mix in the bowl.
