I’m so upset embarrassed by the very rude manager named Sam. I bought a tray of hot food from Walmart deli and me and my 2 year old son my 4 month old daughter sat down at a booth to eat. As soon as I pulled my food out, Sam came over and told me that if I wasn’t a paying customer of subway that me and my children had to leave. I packed up our lunch feeling very shamed by this lady and embarrassed as the only 3 customers in there stared at us as we were leaving. I could understand if they were busy but they weren’t. Don’t put a subway inside of a Walmart if you don’t want Walmart customers to utilize the seating sometimes. Maybe Walmart should kick subway out!
After yesterday, I am disappointed and will no longer go to this location, and they have what I assume was a manager to thank for that and I feel that other people should know how we were treated. I am an in-home caregiver for someone with special needs, so we take her on outings to work on things like behavior and socialization skills among other things. Well, as we were out she asked to eat, so we got something from the Wal-Mart deli seeing as how they're the only ones that has something she can eat b/c she has dietary issues with foods/eating. We do like we would normally grab it, pay, go into the Subway, buy us a drink and usually cookies to go with the meal, and eat. As we are sitting there (someone that is clearly and noticeably disabled, my husband, and myself) about to start eating this man walks up to us to KICK us out if we didn't (although we did and bought more than 1 thing) and once I corrected him saying that we did buy something he was huffy and puffy and just seemed disappointed that he didn't have any reason to kick us out, and it wasn't like the place was busy at that moment either b/c if it was we wouldn't have even bothered staying. If the Subway company didn't want people from another business to take up space or use their area maybe they shouldn't be in other places such as Wal-Mart. I will add too that the 2 girls *actually* working (unlike him just walking around doing nothing and bossing them around) behind the counter to help everyone did their jobs really well and fast, they were also nice to us.
