We had no idea this place existed before we saw it along side the road on our way from the Dogfish head brewery down into Maryland. We got a flight so we could try various beers. We were surprised at how good some of them were since this seemed like a local place. We really enjoyed our time here and the bartenders were awesome. View all feedback.
What Tyler L doesn't like about 16 Mile Brewing:
16 Mile Brewery, a large farmhouse brewery with a fairly small tasting room has a good selection of beer. The outdoor space isn't utilized very well as there's nowhere to sit on such a nice day, but the inside allows dogs, so we all head inside. The beer list has a fairly large number of choices for a small place including some funky twists like a watermelon beer. The more standard brews like a belgian ale are delicious too, and we even find some of their amber ale at a gas station later, giving us options for our Netflix marathon libations.
Shame on them for NOT updating their website to let everyone know that they are closed. They are in the middle of nowhere and that just sucks when your time is limited.
This placed closed last week for good. No known reason. Very sad to see them go. Was a favorite of mine every time I came home.
16 miles of LAMENESS !! The beer had an astringent aftertaste and was seemingly without an alcohol (no kick! The service was horrible, as the bartender was on her cell phone twice when we needed service..The singer was too loud and had brought along is family, complete with YOUNG children that were constantly getting in everyones way ..WORST OF ALL, the bartender gave us last call , took our payment and then served another party as we were leaving..BOO, BOO, 16 mile brewery is run by amateurs !
They Have Awesome Beer Nice Place To Relax And They Also Have A Food Truck 5 Days A Week Look Up Nothing Better LLC
Changed my opinion Not so much personality to 16 Mile anymore Great posters and ambiance gone Now they are promoting yoga and plants ..pretty disappointed
