This is probably the best Chinese food I had in Georgetown so far. When we arrived, it was pretty late, close to 8.30 p.m. The place was deserted, but people were coming for take-outs. What User doesn't like about Fortune House:
Located on Sheriff Street and Campbell Avenue this restaurant is easy to find and locate. My experience however was not so pleasant. After buying food from Fortune House I realised it was not up to the standard I had in mind. For me this was an 'unfortunate ' first time impression and my last with them. The food was full of sugar and it was not fresh. Hope the standard can be raised. View all feedback.
Fortune House is my to go restaurant for Chinese Food. My boyfriend and I have dinner or lunch here at least once a month. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Good for couples, family and friends A must visit while in Georgetown

Visited here after one year and food is still great. The dining is cozy, great for couples. Food is delicious, served with both fried/roast meat. Friendly staff and budget friendly

Situated at the corner of Sheriff Street and Campbell Avenue, this restaurant is quite easy to find. Unfortunately, my experience there was not very enjoyable. After ordering food from Fortune House, I was disappointed to find that it didn't meet my expectations. This made for an "unfortunate" first impression, which will also be my last visit. The food was overly sweet and lacked freshness. I hope the quality can be improved in the future.
