Stopped by this Cafe while on a 1 day stopover in Penang and wanted to try the famous Penang Asam Laksa and it was really good. This little family fun cafe only has about 6 items on the menu but we tried the Laksa, Chay Kuay Toew, fish ball soup, chicken wings and the Penang white iced coffee and they were all delicious! Highly recommend this place! It’s not fancy, no AC but it’s worth it if you are looking for delic... View all feedback.
Limited choice in terms of food items on their menu. There's only Assam Laksa and they do it very well. It is currently ranked top on my list of must eat Assam laksa in Penang.
Cozy place with great assam laksa prepared just the way I like it; perfect balance of sourness and spicyness with soft rice noodles. Very friendly laidback owners with interesting music in the background from Richard Marx to Aerosmith (That's Penang for you). RM4.50 for small bowl, RM6.00 for big bowl. If you're around the corner, you gotta drop by and try their one and only assam laksa.
The best food in penang all in one roof. Belacan Chicken, Laksa and Nasi Ulam is The famous good in here.
It was a nice and cosy place to stop and have a cool fresh drink... The owner was really friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back to try the Assam Laksa...
Friendly owner, authentic Nyonya Assam Laksa and reasonable price. Definitely a place worth patronising!
