It's much more affordable now compared to the time it was in g hotel idk why But the food is very good. Their Saba Shioyaki is my favorite saba shio of all time! They also have set lunches which are also quite reasonably priced View all feedback.
What Jane Halin doesn't like about Miraku G Kelawai:
The food is expensive and small. Would rather go to other Japanese restaurant for a better, bigger portion and cheaper price. The soft shell crab roll looks big but only 30% of it consists of soft shell crab. The rest is just rice and cucumber….Service was just okay given the price of the food. Had to ask waiter to refill green tea as they don’t refill it automatically. View all feedback.

Lunch set was really good and reasonably priced. Added on additional sashimi. The fish slices tasted very fresh and in room temperature not frozen fish. Melts in your mouth texture. Good combination of everything in the set.
Standard to maintain ! As good as it is no doubt ! You can try any of its lunch set and they are all value for money !
Ate at the temporary location at g Kelawei Hotel (July 2022) but I don’t feel the food is as good as it was when it was back at the old spot (g Hotel) the good quality is still above average, however I feel it’s a bit pricey for what you get and the portions are becoming smaller and smaller (especially the cod fish)
This was my first visit after MCO. Lovely ambience but food was OK nothing wow. Sashimi taste like sushi zanmai standard. Some item increase price compared to previously located in g hotel. Penang has many new Japanese restaurants that impressed me more than here. If u like premium bites, go for omakase that taste better!
