Contribute FeedbackWe had the priviledge of being house guests in the village of San Desideiro recently and were taken to the restaurant for lunch by our Italian friends. Being unfamiliar with the local menu the waiter suggested a taste of the local pasta and dishes to share. We were not to be disappointed, the food was delicious and could recommend a visit to anyone if in the area, either on holiday or a business trip.
Definitely one of the best restaurant in town, his traditional cuisine gives you a complete range of good Ligurian and Piedmontese food. Mushrooms and truffles are the best but the true masterpiece is the fritto all'italiana.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants I have been to in my more than 60 visits to Italy. The Tartare di manzo con parmigiano e carciofi crudi (Beef Tartar with parmigano and artichokes) was surperb. Porcini al funghetto fritto (fried porcini mushrooms) were perfect with the great wine available. My pasta with porcini mushroom sauce (Taglierini al sugo di funghi porcini) was excellent. Cant wait to go back. And for the quality and quantity of food the price was good.
