We have been here 2 times in our 12 day stay in Genoa. The owner is super friendly and loves what she does. The food was amazing too! It’s great because it’s something different then any other restaurant has to offer in town! I would highly recommend stoping by if you’re in town.
Simple, filling, tasty, affordable. The owner was very nice and explained her reasons for opening the place, gave it a nice bit of context. For my girlfriend who is gluten free this was a great opportunity to get some carbs in a city full of pasta! Essentially Genoese specialities on jacket potatoes!
Eating at patalin is a great experience. Simple very tasty combinations of potatoes with meet chicken octopus or simply vegetarian with a glass of wine or a beer makes this a great start for a light evening. Cooked and will prepared by Jessica, her smiles and sympathy make this a place for great unforgettable experience.
A very unique and small place. The menu is limited (potato-based), but very good. What really sets it apart is the owner, who is friendly, kind, and welcoming. Everything is gluten-free and suitable for celiacs (except the sandwich). Highly recommended for a unique gluten-free experience!
