Il Porticciuolo - Genoa

I really enjoyed the courtesy of the very young waiters who immediately found us a seat despite a large group of French tourists. The owner was very kind not to count the two desserts in the account (although very suitable after the chosen dishes). Excellent squid and octopus appetizer. Fast service and great sympathy and education. I hope to come back soon to taste a second of fish with calmer in a non-working day

I had to spend a night in genova, and there are many small restaurants in the surroundings. I have not reviewed any note on which I should choose on tripadvisor, so I land in il porticciuolo, where I am near the hotel. not very impressed but not very negative...words to say. only in Italian, not an English spoken staff, the court was also average, only one kind of beer at the time of the visit. the price was fair.

We sopped at Pegli to be close to Genoa airport. The town is a rundown middle class resort and we were very surprised to find an authentic homerun fish restaurant. We had excellent linguini with local crab, taste of small past with pesto and absolutely...outstanding Zappa di golfo fish soup. Arguable the best we had in Italy. The only con: there is no view or outdoor seating but it is all about food then.

I highly recommend this place. I ate linguine al pesto and enjoyed the taste, so did my friend, the penne al filetto di pomodoro ate. the cold tee is great, also the decaf latte. the lady who took our order was very nice and extremely professional.

Complained, among the delicious dresses described by the owner. if they like fish, they are at the right place. start their evening with a glass prosecco and apetizer offered by the owner.
