I stayed for 2 nights in July 2022. This is a very pleasant hotel in a great location between the town centre and a beautiful park. The hotel has direct access to the lakeside in the park with outdoor service available. The rooms are clean and modern and a decent size with modern decoration and good lighting (why do so many hotels have dingy lighting! . The breakfast buffet has a good selection including 2 hot items but at at just under €20 per person not good value. On the negative side, the room was too hot because of the warm weather. There is no air con but a decent fan is provided which is essential. The room window only had 1 narrow opening and did not allow enough cool air in at night to cool the room. The staff are nice enough but seem to be rather young, inexperienced and lacking customer service skills. Parking is steep at €1.50 per hour during the day or €1.20 overnight capped at €15 per day. There is plenty of free parking nearby on the streets from 18:00 to 09:00 and all day Sunday so you can avoid the worst of the fees. Finally, I hada problem paying! I have a British credit card that gives a good exchange rate but when I tried to use it to pay, I was not offered the usual choice to pay in € or — only and at a poor rate plus a 3.75% commission. The inexperienced person staffing the check out could not resolve this so I had to look for an ATM and pay in cash. Overall, I was reasonably happy with my stay but would look for somewhere better next time.
The worst hotel I ever been in my life! The room very dirty; in 5 days never changed the bedsheets and even ordered. I give some laundry and they ruined all my clothes. I spoke with the ‘manager “ and it’s like to talk with nobody. It’s disgusting
Room 101 the flat roof outside the window needs the metal covering in felt or something because when it rains at night, which it does, the noise of it hitting the metal is horrendous.
Rooms are hot ac not working , and rooms are not the same as the pictures shown in booking
Never again...+30C in room...no airco or decent way to get fresh air in the room...only a small part of small window could be opened...it says 4star hotel....should be rated as a2star
