the best steak and chips ive ever had, i want to bring my family here but i'd never find it. Not a lot of english spoken here but they were so friendly. hang around the valley and wait for the deer. the views are outstanding View all feedback.

really came by chance when we followed a tourist bus, we still stopped to see ...... the location is excellent, the terrace is great and the rooms in the interior are very picturesque because they are really common.Maybe because of the tourist bus!!!!, but hey only for the hire, we will come back. This restaurant has a fairly large outdoor area and a smaller area (as far as I could see) inside. one of the attractions of this restaurant is the location and the beautiful view that are not visible from our interior. the food offer is strong with spices, salads and cutlets. the carving we had - my adult daughter ordered a child portion was tender and well seasoned - carvings are not always good, but that was excellent.
The hiesli has a rustic ambiente. we went to the recommendation of our renter in the evening there and have received very good steak meat and large portion salat and supplements.The service was very attentive.It is recommended to order a table, as all tables were occupied several times in the evening in both etagens.
We have eaten here during our visit to gengenbach on recommendation of a friend of mine and we have enjoyed it very well. the restaurant is located in the middle of a beautiful valley with an impressive forest next to it and looks like a history. we have eaten very well, at a good price and they have taken care of us very much! I hope I can come back one day. I recommend it 100%!
