It is not bad and not part... read more The restaurant on the highest floor of the WMO building, in terms of its culinary offer, is simply average for UN agency restaurants. It is not bad and not particularly exciting. It's not public. The main attraction is the large balcony... view (only on one side) of the lake, which is very pleasant in summer. The massive disappointment is the obvious complete lack of environmental policy. Plastic pots and salad boxes are systematically offered and there seems to be no separation at all for recycling. This restaurant could completely eliminate the use of plastics when this is present. For a restaurant in a UN building it is simply scandalous.

The place is nice and clean and the views of the mountain and lake are very nice. Food selection was good. The two options we selected were good...and the quality of the food was good too. Prices seemed a bit high for two lunch plates, water and one soft drink for 30 swiss francs or about $30 use, but this is Geneva where everything is more expensive. I most say that the quality of the food was better than standard cafeteria fare. Nice place, I would eat here again.
