And I am... read more Having quite enjoyed a visit to Sake the first time around (despite quite a long time spent waiting for our food), we decided to give it a second try. And I am afraid the place has lost us. We ended up waiting 2 hours (not an exaggeration) for our food to start arriving (we chose the set sushi menu). When it arrived, the food was not as impressive as I remembered it. For example, sashimi cuts were a bit stale and contained muscle tissue and fat. We were so tired by the time the second sushi set arrived (at 11.30 pm) that we asked it and our chosen deserts to be packed up as a takeaway. The staff was not too apologetic. The verdict: an ok japanese fusion food place (do not expect authentic flavours like in Japan), at a good price, but the waiting time quite literally kills any desire to come here again.

The only negative thing... read more The menu options in this restaurant are very good. There is a big choice of dishes and the combination you get through the menu is nice. The only negative thing is that, as they cook in the same room and the place is small, you will get the same smell on your clothes.
