As she didn't bother to come to our table to take our order,... read more As every so often, I went to this bar last night. The usual waiters were not there, but a lady was. As she didn't bother to come to our table to take our order, we shouted it through the bar. I ordered a syrup, and...she proudly came back with some syrup in an empty glass and a bottle of mineral water. As I insisted that I hadn't ordered a bottle of mineral water, she insisted that it was the bar policy to serve syrup with a bottle of mineral water. It so happened, that none of the other waiters had ever served me a syrup with a bottle of mineral water before, but with the usual tap water. She then alluded that I was lying. So: the customer is not entitled to order whatever he or she wants but must follows the whims of the staff if insisting to do so, the waiter feels free to just disrepect him or her In the ongoing economic crisis, pitiful that some still display this kind of attitude!

This cool dive bar offers mostly friendly service, a nice variety of beers on tap, seating at the front or back of the business, and sidewalk tables at the fron... read more This cool dive bar offers mostly friendly service, a nice variety of beers on tap, seating at the front or back of the business, and sidewalk tables at the front and rear entrance to the bar with protective umbrellas, and all tables socially distanced. There is always sports on the wall mounted TV‘s for a relaxing time hanging out with the locals. I enjoyed my quick visit and cold beer (6.50CHF).
