Good atmosphere and good food. Although we were near groups it was quite and we were able to hear eachother. Good vegan options, service and great if you see a show. I ll go back View all feedback.
What Richard Zürcher doesn't like about Grutli:
Nos frequentes soirées au Victoria Hall se terminent régulièrement au Grütli, ce qui n'est malheureusement pas possible lorsque les concerts finissent après 22h. Regrettable. Accueil, service relaxe et convivial, ambiance branchée. Fréquents changements de la déco artistique appréciés. Bons mets originaux avec des goûts souvent inhabituels. On se sent bien au Grütli! Great place, a legend in Switzerland for vegetarian cuisine before it was really in vogue It was a tad bit expensive but at least we knew that the experience wasn't killing any animals.
Cozy at the limit of messy, crowded and waiters dressed very casually so that you cannot easily recognize them : I have to admit though that overall, the atmosphere is OK and the food is super good. Menu is limited, or options for...main dish, mostly vegan, I think there is chicken based dish and raw fish.
Lucky enough to go to the Grütli twice last week! The fixed lunch menu was made up of courses a soup/salad starter and main (choice of veg, vegan, and fish dish). The salad dressing was delicious and the vegan main was very flavourful. For...dinner had fried seitan with leeks and carrot puree and a tomme panné both of these were very tasty. Recommend booking ahead as it is always busy.
The food mainly vegan is original and taty The waiters are very dynamic and kind Good wine Good ambiance A bit noisy
