Embedded in large malls, ensuring the spenders get force fed in their journey through obsolete stores in even more obsolete gigantic buildings in the most gigantic cities of the world. Or at least in cities...pretending to be the center of the world for something, chocolates, cars, ants, astronauts.... if at least the food courts would be used as what the name says, to judge the talents of would be chefs, on probation, trained by big chemical corporations to avoid use of fresh produce. At least we would have a reference. But no, instead they assemble society in a fast food exercise, pretending to combine global cuisine. So the epidemic spread of Japanese restaurants, combining sushi, sashimi, noodles, soups and you name it. Akiko, i would love to believe a tribute to the famous poet, in a court would probably have been condemned to close, banning its chef to a far away place, planet still to define. I ordered lemon grass soup with prawns, some springrolls and a plastic receptacle of sushi. I got as extra some steamed white rice. Fast food of the land of the rising sun......The food court came to a quick verdict.... I was not expecting michelin stars.......but I did not expect to throw my dinner so fast in the garbage either. So Akiko told me one thing, the shop across the road of the petrol station at least gave me a Snickers to survive on.
