It was the best meal we had during our three-week visit to... read more We stayed in nearby Vains in October 2025 and happened upon La Pause Des Genets, much to our delight. It was the best meal we had during our three-week visit to France. Three of us had the beef and the other one had the duck and all were cooked to perfection. Everything seemed fresh and locally sourced. The staff was engaging and good-naturedly suffered our horrible French. If you are in this area of Normandy, we highly recommend La Pause Des Genets.

We were looking for a restaurant where to eat near or near Mont St Michel and I saw your restaurant on Google that immediately struck me in the eyes! The setting looks very pretty, the well-known cuisine and when you know how hard it is to find a good restaurant in the area that is not a tourist take), I immediately went to take a look at your site! Me and my companion being vegetarian, what sadness to discover that none of your dishes has meat or fish... I allow this email because I find it a shame not to propose at least one entry and a vegetarian dish... In a changing world, it would be time to think about it... Because if that were the case I would have jumped on a reservation and I think many others would do the same in view of all the qualities of your restaurant compared to the other around... Perhaps one day, I’ll come back for a tour on your menu and I’ll have the surprise of vegetarian dishes, that is to say! We'll come with pleasure! We eat very well. they can adapt perfectly to food constraints (my spouse has many allergies), the chef has made a special menu especially worked! The plates are well-trained. the decor is superb: a lot of accumulation, there are everywhere, that beautiful accessories, we travel. I recommend this place and I'll go back!
