Die Burgermacher

It could be a McDonalds burger and I would love this place for their beer selection and service. They have a reach-in cooler of craft brews from Austria, Germany, Belgium, and USA. But instead of McDonalds crappy burgers, they serve a pan-cooked, thick burger patty on a whole-wheat(? bun. The homemade ketchup was too sweet for my taste (I don't put regular ketchup on my burgers, and this was sweeter . One of our top two restaurant experiences in Wien.

Foremost, if you just put a meat patty between some bread, it does not mean it 's a burger. Let alone a good one. If you have ever eaten a burger anywhere in the US, you will immediately know that this is not a US kinda burger. So here we go, the rating is for food only: Burgers exceptionally bad. I thought really hard if I ever had a worse burger in my life and couldn 't think of an instance. The burger is extremely dry, overcooked, served on a rye bun (wtf?!? , with some artisan ketchup that is full of curry... Terrible! Not only does it taste bad, but the size is ridiculously small a quarter pound maybe for EUR 10! Fries excellent! Worth going there only for the fries and that 's why I 'm giving this place 2 stars otherwise it would be zero. Home made mayo great! Other issues this place is small and you need a reservation in order to get a seat?!? The way you will know that people who eat there have no idea what a proper burger is supposed to taste like (Ray 's Hell Burgers, Counter Burger, Shake Shack, etc. is that most of the customers use a fork and a knife to eat a burger. Ha, ha.... so European.

One of the best burger places in the city. Buuuttt this depends on what you are looking for in a burger. Price is medium, flavour is high with portion that make sense. They experiment on 2 burgers for a rotation basis 1-2 months. Owners recently changed from originating two to a new 4. They kept the same flavour, which makes me want to come back with friends. Leider gibt es nur einen veganen Burger (und einen Vegetarier), so leider haben Sie nicht. der Burger war ziemlich schmackhaft, etwas schärfer, mit veganem Chili mayo. Ich liiiiiebe euch!!!! ich kann prinzipiell burger nicht leiden... mag meist weder das blade laberl noch das fade weckerl oder die widerlichen majosaucen! und ich rede hier nicht von den fastfoodketten!!! eure burger sind eine sensation und wirklich geschmacklich unglaublich gut komponiert!!! ich hatte bisher den lemmyburger, einen irgendeinen nach dem steirerfest und jetzt den ganslburger, bei dem mir schon beim posting das wasser im mund zusammengelaufen ist vielen dank für diesen foodporn ps ich vermisse die sweetpotatoe pommes
